Meeting Growing Demand
Lesley Bloomfield is a well-used and valued shopping destination. However, the unit has remained unoccupied for some time and demand from potential occupiers cannot be fully accommodated across the existing shopping centre units.
About the Consultation Team
The applicant is supported by a consultancy team which includes Turley, the Planning and Communication Consultants and Hughes McMichael as the Project Architects.
Pre-application Community Consultation
We are currently undertaking pre-application community consultation to understand your views on the proposal prior to the submission of a full planning application to Ards & North Down Borough Council. During this period, we will be hosting a public information event, along digital consultation methods, to ensure we accurately capture the views of those with an interest in the proposed development.

Join our public information event
We will be hosting a public information event at the Concourse at Lesley Bloomfield Shopping Centre, South Circular Road, Bangor, Co Down, BT19 7HB, from 3-7pm on Tuesday 9th December 2025.
Members of the project team will be on hand to listen to your comments and answer your questions.
